Ann and Noelle, the founders of Penguin Academy, saw a need in Portland for affordable, quality child care. They are excited to bring gentle parenting and childhood behavior management techniques to the world of summer camps. At Penguin Academy there will be time for rest and quiet along with high energy play, games and challenges. This all around aspect is what makes this camp so unique. Join us for a fun filled summer!

Outdoor Adventure
Nature walks, bug bingo, camping skills, and field exploration.

Sports & Fitness
Soccer, kids yoga, gymnastics, and dance.

June 30 - July 4th
WEEK OFF / NO CAMP
There will be no services this entire week. We will continue the following Monday.

July 7 - 11
Shark Week
Shark science, facts, and learning, deep blue sea tag, Shark Tank game, and mermaid tail decorating.

July 14 - 18
STEM
Possible field trip to OMSI, building/engineering, science experiments, and Lego challenges.

July 21 - 25
Language & Culture
Experiences in different languages/traditions, and music from around the world dance party.

July 27 - August 1
Space Expedition
Exploring the mysteries of the universe with space-themed activities.

August 4 - 8
Creative Arts
Painting, design/sketching, field trip to art studio, and crafting & sculpting.

Week 9
August 11 - 15
Dinosaurs
Explore dinosaur facts & myths, create fossil projects, and fossil dig.

August 18 - 22
Super Heroes
Make super hero masks/identities, super power science, mock missions, and villain/hero tag.
